The Big Kick™, Epic™, Wizard™. The Cuttlebug™ is the smallest machine in the market and the dies also cut successfully with this machine. Most Cuttlebug™ users are familiar with using shims for thin metal etched dies. Die Cut and Emboss: There are a few techniques in achieving dramatic embossing and clean die cuts. We advise taping your metal die face down onto your crafting media for best results. The best embossing results are done using our embossing pads. We provide two thicknesses of pads for embossing choices. Emboss first for deepest emboss. Remove rubber pads and then die cut as you would normally. Results: beautiful embossed graphics ready for coloration. The larger table top die cutters can and will die cut and emboss in one pass. The embossing will not be as dramatic as the emboss first and die cut process.
