I live in Dunedin, but formally from Invesrcargill (now home to the Ranfurly Shield Yay go the stags!!!) we moved here 8 years ago, and have never looked back. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years and we have 3 wonderful kids Christopher 25, Michael 22, and Emz 19, and a beagle named Pippa and 2 cats. These guys are my main inspiration for scrapping however it is usually very costly for me to get pics as it usually involves some kind of payment i.e pizza, KFC etc.

As a self taught scrapper, I still marvel at the distance there is between when I started 5 years ago to now, where once a photo and a couple of stickers looked “Awesome” To now when we have such goodies as Prima, Websters Pages, Basic Grey, K&Co and Kaisercraft and then the great backstop Bazzill.

I hope that the layouts and challenges I have for you are fresh and exciting and so long as they pass the very strict quality control of my DH (who is my best and at times worst critic!) should allow you to take that extra step and delve outside your comfort zone.

I like to use a lot of flowers, bling, pearls, and lace where ever possible and yes sometimes it works on Male pages. I have tried the minimalistic layout but find they always look unfinished so just keep piling on the bits until I'm happy.

I was lucky enough to have a job in our local scrapbook shop until it closed in February and really enjoyed helping scrappers from new to advanced get the "Right" piece to start or even finish their project.

I also have been lucky enough to have been published in the Scrapbooking Memories magazine and make the shortlist for the Masters, which was an absolute thrill but when I was asked by the Ladies at Scrappin Patch to join their group, I had to jump at the chance, as there is nothing like doing it in your own country.

I look forward to working with this very talented bunch and hope to meet a lot of you fellow scrappers from time to time.
