I was born in Sweden 37 years ago, but have lived in Auckland, New Zealand since 2003. I was meant to stay here for 6 months, but you know how the story goes… You meet the man, you get married, nd you have kids. My first daughter Tova was born in September 2006, and Elsa, daughter number two, in January 2009! so now I’m stuck – and I love it!

I have a double degree in singing and teaching music, and until  found scrapbooking, that was my biggest creative outlet!  was even signed to a big Swedish record company in the nineties, and had a no 1 hit. I did a lot of touring in Europe and America, and it was  wild time in my life. I still do music, but having a family is more important to me, and I have chosen not to do as much performing as I used to!

I am also a big fan of travelling, and before moving to New Zealand, I did a lot of that. Having a family means a little less travel, but luckily the country I live inis one of the most beautiful places on earth! The local beaches here have amazing scenery, so I get my exploring kicks in my everyday life. I am very blessed!

When pregnant with Tova in 2006, I lost interest in music for a while, and needed another way to express my creativity. That is when I was introduced to the wonderful world of scrapbooking. I have never looked back! I just love the way you can preserve memories, and make it beautiful and interesting at the same time! I love looking at and smelling new products (nutty I know!), and I love to get new photos that I can work with! I simply love this hobby!

I have been fortunate enough to be published in the NZ Scrapbooking magazine UP2Scrap, and I will be published in the same magazine this year, as well as the new NZ Scrapbooking magazine Scrapbooking Innovation.

I feel so lucky to be part of the Scrappin’ Patch team. The team is full of lovely, crazy and super talented ladies!!
